Notre Dame Memorial Day Tribute Honoring Our Fallen Heros with COO John Lalli

To celebrate deceased veterans of all the wars fought by American forces, the Notre Dame Senior Alumni group has sponsored a very special 45 minute video presented on Memorial Day, 2021, hosted by Mike Cerre ’69, a U.S. Marine Vietnam veteran and Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist.

Mike interviews fellow alums of Notre Dame veterans who were killed in action during the Vietnam War, with remembrances from classmates and friends, of those who gave their lives during this terrible time in our nation’s history.

This program includes an interview of John Lalli, a fellow Vietnam veteran and now COO of Blue Hill Data Services.  John fondly remembers his roommate and best friend, James Thomas Egan, Jr., a major in the United States Marine Corp. The stories of Jimmy Egan and six other veterans, whose names appear on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall in Washington, D.C., are moving and heartfelt.
