Blue Hill offers a range of services to assist our clients with custom projects, such as software upgrades, application testing, and tape conversions, among others. Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients with flexible, quality-driven services to keep them up-to-date and running as efficiently as possible. Blue Hill provides the infrastructure and technical support necessary to meet our client’s needs.

• Proof of Concept Testing — If you need to convert your applications that are running on an unsupported operating system or database version, Blue Hill provides the platform and software you need to conduct your upgrade testing. Depending on your needs, we will load the software, provide sample JCL, and provide the technical support needed to ensure your new system is validated and running at optimal performance levels.
  
  
• Application Development — Blue Hill provides the mainframe or open systems environment, research & development, and technical support personnel you require for system related support for new applications, conversion testing or long-term projects.
  
  
• Tape Duplication and Conversion — Blue Hill provides tape copy and data compression or reformatting services for small to large-size jobs on a range of tape, cartridge, or disk media, including 3480, 3490E, 3590, 4MM, 8MM, CD, DVD, DLT.
  
  Blue Hill provides the hardware equipment and resources, media, software installation/customization, dataset creation, technical support, operations, monitoring and process coordination, data backup utility software, shipping and handling of tape cartridges, and all other related functions. Tools utilized include OEM and IBM software, and CA ARCSERVE Backup Utility, among others. Services include secure system set-up, tape initialization, mounting & loading, data processing (extraction/replication) and verification, labeling, sorting, racking, separating, library filing, housing master tapes at our location for duplication, and shipping tapes to desired location.
  
  
• Data Encryption — Blue Hill provides data encryption as a part of our tape processing services to guard against unauthorized access or information loss. Financial services organizations, technology companies, and other institutions require strict guidelines for data security and tape backup procedures. Blue Hill’s data encryption services deliver the security benefits our client’s need to eliminate any risk when it comes to a highly secure environment and strict tape processing or backup policies.
  
  Blue Hill ensures your data protection by producing securely encrypted tapes/disk for storage and transport. We use state-of-the-art encryption management tools to help secure data stored to tape and other media.
